In our day-to-day, many situations appears right in front of us, and we have to solve them as fast as we can, otherwise we will get some damages, and the result will not like us at all, now imagine what is going to happened when you are developing a new project, the list of situations is going to be larger than what you expected. Fortunately there are some tools that we can use in order to identify the situations that could be a risk in the future, one of this tools is the Activity Theory, that states the situations, and all the agents that participate in the environment that in the end it is going to help you to have a feedback in the different ways that you can see the context of the analyzed subject, it also helps you to understand how strong is someone connected with the community, and the environment where she/he is.

The model was proposed by Engeström in 1987. He tried to understand the larger range of factors that are together, working, in other to reach an outcome, he thought that the study of these factors, and taking them as individual would be a great idea to find the mentioned connections to the subject, to finally reach an statement where the subject has an integrity and you reach de outcome that you desire. The factors that are going to be in our model are the following:
- Subject: The one that you are going to be applying this model.
- Rules: The limitations that the subject has in the environment that we analyzing.
- Tools: All the sources that our subject has in order to reach the outcome.
- Community: Friends, teachers, parents or any person/being related to the subject
- Division of Labor: Are the actions that our subject could do, the jobs and needs also are part of the Division of Labor.
- Object: The thing that the subject turns into.
- Outcome: What happens after all the process is made.
These model is going to help to our idea to find the weakness that it may have, but also, is going to provide you a wider image of what you want to do, the solution of the weaknesses will lead you to a whole, and strong idea. It is important to know that the parts which Engeström proposed us also affect us. So we could find weaknesses in ourselves by applying this model, so that the problems that we may have, or when you want to reach into a personal development the this tool is going to help you to reach the solution, and find the problematic.
